Carolita Johnson's cartoons have appeared in The New Yorker, The Complete New Yorker, The Rejection Collection by Matt Diffee, Funny Ladies by Liza Donnelly, and her writing has been published in Print Magazine. She has also appeared in The Rejection Show (cartoons, and illustrated narrative).

She has a special appearance in Steven-Charles Jaffe's documentary, Gahan Wilson: Born Dead, Still Weird (2008).
