Ms. Ward decorated her return envelope in addition to submitting her official Doodle.

Sela Ann Ward is best known for her award-winning television roles as free-spirited Teddy Reed on Sisters (1991-96) and single mother Lily Manning on Once and Again (1999-2002). She is also noted for her portrayal of Richard Kimble's murdered wife in the Oscar-nominated film version of The Fugitive.

Sela won two Emmy awards for her work on Sisters (1994) and Once and Again (2000), a Golden Globe award for Once and Again (2001), and a CableACE Award for her role as Jessica Savitch in
Almost Golden (1995).

She is the founder of
Hope Village for Children which opened in 2002. It is a permanent home for abused and neglected children in Meridian, Mississippi, Sela's hometown which she returns to frequently with her husband and two children. After Hurricane Katrina, her son Austin started Preparedpak, an online company for the purchase of Home Safety, Family, Pet, and Car Emergency Preparedness Kits. All profits benefit Hope Village to care for children displaced by Katrina.

In 2005, she began a recurring role in the series
House as Stacy Warner, the hospital's former attorney and ex-partner of Dr. Gregory House (played by British actor Hugh Laurie).

She's currently filming
The Stepfather, a remake of the 1987 horror movie based on a true story of a seemingly normal man who systematically eliminates his families when they don't measure up to his expectations of the perfect family.
