John Rios has been drawing live caricatures since 1989 in and around the Detroit, Michigan area. He is the owner of Grafix Jam, Ltd. which is full service graphic design studio.
In the past few years, John has begun to make a name for himself with his published caricatures being featured in magazines, on the cover of Orange County Choppers Calendar, radio station websites and promotions, CD covers, posters, T-shirts and so on.
He illustrated the cover of the New York Times Best seller Ted White and Blue and a comic book for Mattel, Barbie's Miami Adventure. He also designed the graphics for Mike Wallace's NASCAR Daytona 500 in 2002 and all graphics/branding for NASCAR legend Ernie Irvan's Laps Walk Charity.
Recently John created the characters for an award-winning kids' card game Monster Maker.
