Creator of The X-Files

Chris Carter is best known as the creator of The X-Files.

In 1993, he started his own production company called Ten Thirteen Productions. Between 1993 and 2002 they produced: 201 episodes of The X-Files, 67 episodes of Millennium, 9 episodes of Harsh Realm, 13 episodes of The Lone Gunmen, and the feature films The X-Files: Fight the Future (1998) and The X-Files: I Want to Believe (2008).

For his work on The X-Files, Chris has received three Golden Globe Awards (1994, 1996, 1997), a Writers Guild nomination, three Directors Guild nominations, and an Emmy Award nomination.

In the pipeline: Fencewalker (currently in post-production), a thriller written and directed by Chris Carter and starring Katie Cassidy.
