Donna Deegan is a well-known journalist, philanthropist, and marathoner.
As a three time breast cancer survivor, she is the founder and president of The Donna Foundation, which funds the critical needs of underserved women with breast cancer. She is also the founder of 26.2 with Donna, the nation's only marathon distance race dedicated solely to breast cancer research and care. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of her second book, "Through Rose Colored Glasses", will go to benefit those charities. Her first book, "The Good Fight" continues to support those organizations as well.
Deegan is an evening news anchor for First Coast News, Gannett Broadcasting’s NBC and ABC affiliate stations in Jacksonville Florida. She is married to First Coast News Meteorologist, Tim Deegan, and they have two children, Danielle and Drew.
