Derek Theler is an actor who currently portrays Danny Wheeler (Ben's brother), a professional hockey player in ABC Family's BABY DADDY. Just last February, BABY DADDY was renewed for a 5th season.
He grew up playing sports and graduated from Colorado State with a degree in pre-medicine. From there he was cast in commercials for Nike, Coke Zero, State Farm, Kayak, Arby's, and Verizon.
Other television credits include PROJECT: SERA, VAMPIRE ZOMBIE WEREWOLF, COUGAR TOWN, and THE MIDDLE. He also filmed a three-episode arc on the fourth season of 90210, as Anna Lynne McCord's love interest. Additionally, he was a recurring comedian in sketches for the CONAN O'BRIEN SHOW.
Theler was born in Fort Collins, Colorado and currently resides in Los Angeles.
