King of the Hill, The Simpsons

NOTE: This is a color print of Gary Yap's original 2015 b&w doodle.

Gary Yap worked in the animation field as a Storyboard Artist for the hit Fox series KING OF THE HILL, where he was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Storyboarding. He quickly rose up the ranks from Storyboard Artist to Character Layout Artist/Animator to Assistant Director to Retakes Director to Character Layout Supervisor.

Between seasons of KING OF THE HILL, he worked on THE SIMPSONS and THE OBLONGS. In addition to storyboarding several commercials and features (USHER, THE POM POM MASSACRE) since then, he created the webseries/comic VENETIAN MAGENTA, which he writes/illustrates.
